Tableau Server for Production Systems

CPU: 8 CPU cores (16 CPU threads); 64-bit; 2.0GHz or higher; support SSE4.2 and POPCNT instruction sets, ARM-based processors are not supported. Intel and AMD support these features since circa 2010.
RAM: 64GB for Tableau version 2021.4 or newer. 32GB for older versions.
Free disk space: 50GB; SSD recommended.
OS: Windows Server 2016 or 2019 64-bit. Click here for Linux information.

Tableau Desktop

Windows: Windows 8/10/11, Windows Server 2016/2019; 2GB of RAM; 1.5GB free disk space; CPUs must support SSE4.2 and POPCNT instruction sets. Intel and AMD support these features since circa 2010.
Mac: macOS Mojave 10.14, macOS Catalina 10.15, and Big Sur 11.4+; Intel processors; M1 processors under Rosetta 2 emulation mode; 1.5 GB minimum free disk space; CPUs must support SSE4.2 and POPCNT instruction sets. Intel supports these features since circa 2010.
