Source Container Definition
Source Container – also known as a Source System – refers to a specific data source repository such as a database management system (DBMS). For ETL+ Source System is generally the preferred term.
Examples of source containers include MS SQL Server DB, Google Sheets spreadsheet, the data behind an OData URL, or NetSuite ODBC DSN).
ETL+ uses source drivers to connect to and read from source containers.
Therefore Every source container that ETL+ can extract data from is associated with ETL+ Source Driver.
Every source system depends on a source container.
