The DataSelf ETL connects to Providex-based Sage 100 data via a 32-bit ODBC DSN. If the Sage 100 location changes, you will need to change the paths within the DSN that is already created. You can copy the paths from the SOTAMAS ODBC DSN on a workstation that has just logged into the new location.
DataSelf ETL uses the 32-bit ODBC wizard at C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe .
The DSN is always in the SYSTEM tab, and usually named DS_SAGE100 .
Change the ODBC DSN to use the new paths to the new location.
The most frequent issue is that the network security is preventing access to the server that holds Sage 100's data. Access needs to be tested using the login user that will be running the automated refresh job. The refresh is usually automated with either SQL Server Agent or Windows Task Scheduler.
